Introduction

Prestige Lawns was founded by Kevin in 2012. When Siobhan his partner ran over the lawn mower lead and the grass grew to an unacceptable length, Kevin decided to install artificial grass into his own back garden.

Ten years on, Prestige Lawns now provide artificial grass installations for public and commercial projects across the UK, with a focus on providing the highest quality installations and using the finest materials and processes on the market.

Their goal is to ensure each project is unique and planned in accordance with the vision their customers have for their project. 

 

The challenge

Since their journey started 10 years ago, Prestige Lawns have prided themselves on being at the forefront of design and installation processes, ensuring their customers are given a premium service.

Despite their success however, Prestige were struggling to imprint their exceptional brand position across their resale channels, missing a key component of the installation process; a high performance adhesive that offered a host of benefits and a point of difference.

As a result, they often found that customers would purchase their grass because of the premium brand and quality they offered, but purchase the same brand of adhesive that Prestige were offering elsewhere. Most often, this was down to being priced out of the market by cheap resellers looking to make a quick profit.

Not only did they miss out on a large amount of additional revenue, they also risked losing their customers to their competition, being tempted by cheap grass and even cheaper prices.

They needed a solution that would allow them to continue to be at the forefront of artificial grass installation quality, without cutting their profits to nothing, and ensuring their customers wouldn’t be tempted to resort to buying cheap knock-offs elsewhere, risking losing their artificial grass revenue too…

 

The Solution

Developing their own adhesive brand allowed Prestige Lawns to compliment their existing five-star artificial grass range with an adhesive that provided their customers with added benefits and a point of difference - a high performance, non hazardous adhesive that bonds to nearly all surfaces. Not only would they be switching out nasty chemicals found in most adhesives for hazardous free alternatives, they would be adding a further layer of quality to their existing process.

In addition, Prestige Lawns were able to provide their customers with a full artificial grass installation system that had their name on it. Designed, developed and sold exclusively by Prestige Lawns.

As part of the process, the team at Tigatech created four different design options that would compliment the Prestige Lawns brand, and after a lot of deliberation, the final artwork was created. The design process took less than a week and everyone was getting excited to see the real thing!

The result

Since developing their private label branded adhesive, Prestige have continued to stay at the very top of the artificial grass sector, providing customers in Milton Keynes and the UK with luxury artificial grass that cannot be rivalled elsewhere. 

The addition of their private label brand has allowed Prestige to stay competitive with their trade customers, whilst also adding the extra level of quality to keep their customers coming back for more.
